Started as Clinical Instructor to various Nursing Universities in the Philippines and pursued her UAE career as a neurology nurse in Rashid Hospital Trauma Center Dubai, to a Nurse Manager in Burjeel Hospital Abu Dhabi. Jannet has then progressed up the nursing leadership ladder to her current position as Director of Nursing for Capital Health Specialized Rehabilitation Hospital Abu Dhabi UAE in collaboration with Shirley Ryan Ability Lab USA, formerly known as Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, the number one Rehabilitation Hospital in the US and Health Shield Medical Centre Abu Dhabi UAE. As the Chairperson of the organization’s Education Committee, she has led the hospital to become an Approved Practice Setting by the Department of Health Abu Dhabi. She is a recipient of the prestigious SEHA IHSAN Award for Nursing Leadership in 2023 awarded by His Highness Sheikh Nahyan Al Nahyan. Gulendam Hakverdioglu Yont is an Associate Professor in the Nursing Department at İzmir Tınaztepe University. Tingzhong Yang, is a Professor at and the Director of the Research Center for Digital Health Theory and Management at the National Health Big Data Institute of Zhejiang University; he is also a Distinguished Professor at the Women's Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine. He was an advisor for the World Health Organization (WHO) with regard to delivering policy and programs on tobacco control to health profession students, and he served as an expert in updating the Chronic respiratory diseases (CRDs) section of the WHO Global Action Plan for the Prevention and Control of NCDs, 2013–2020. His primary academic focus is social and behavioral science in public health, and his research interests include tobacco control and mental stress. He has published more than 110 papers in peer-reviewed international journals. His research was officially reported on by the World Health Organization and was selected as one of the research highlights of the University at the celebration of the 120th anniversary of Zhejiang University. He has also published several books, including "Health Research: Social and Behavioral Theory and Methods" "Smoking Environments in China, Challenges for Tobacco Control", and "Mental Stress and Behavior Problems Among Special Groups: Social Resources, Influences on Health, and Reducing Health Inequities", as well as others. Tanrıverdi, who completed her undergraduate nursing education at Atatürk University School of Nursing in 1992, obtained the title of professor in the Department of Public Health Nursing in 2017. For over twenty years, Tanrıverdi has been conducting scientific and social studies focusing on transcultural nursing, the impact of culture on health, the use of transcultural models, interfaith nursing, and health approaches in different cultures. Tanrıverdi, who is also a graduate of the Sociology department, has actively participated in fieldwork with her students for the past 30 years in efforts to protect and improve community health.

Professor Yohana Mashalla graduated with a degree of medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Dar es Salaam. He rose in the academic ranks from assistant lecturer in 1987 to full professor of medical physiology in 2008. He has held several academic and administrative positions in the higher learning institutions in Tanzania including Deputy Principal (Planning, Financing and Administration) at the Muhimbili University College of Health Sciences and catholic University of Health and Allied Science, and Director, Planning and Development at the University of Dar es Salaam. He served as founding senior academic staff and later Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Botswana; Adjunct Professor of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, USA; CoDirector of the Afya Bora Consortium: Training Leaders for Global Health; Chairman of the Southern Africa Nordic Centre (SANORD) and Chairman of the Committee of Vice Chancellors, Principals and Provosts in Tanzania. Professor Mashalla has served in various Committees of the Higher Education Accreditation Council (HEAC) now Tanzania Commission for Universities; and is a recipient of post-doctoral awards from the Carnegie Corporation of New York (USA), Matsumae International Foundation (Japan), Nuffic (The Netherlands) and NUFU (Norway).
